The Cotton Board’s Southeast Regional Communication Manager, James Montgomery Bain, Sr. “Monty”, resides in Dadeville, Alabama. Monty has been in the cotton business working with textile mills, producers and ginners for over 40 years. Before joining the Cotton Board, Monty served as a Sales and Purchasing Representative for Dunavant Enterprises, Inc. for 17 years Prior to that, he bought and sold cotton for R.L. Weaver Cotton and for Thornton-Bain Cotton Company. Monty attended Troy State University and Central Alabama Community College. He also graduated from Murdock International Cotton School in Memphis, Tennessee. He was also a past chairman of the Atlantic Cotton Associations’ Spot Quotation and Classification Committee. They are available to answer any questions that may arise about the Program, as well as make presentations about the innovations stemming from Cotton Incorporated.
