Christi Short serves as the Southwest RCM, with a territory including central and south Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. Before joining The Cotton Board, Christi served as the Communications and Recruiting Coordinator for the Plant and Soil Science Department at Texas Tech University. In her role at Texas Tech, Short organized the Texas International Cotton School. The Cotton Board's Regional Communication Managers serve as the direct link to the Cotton Research & Promotion Program for the Upland cotton producers in the states they serve. They are available to answer any questions that may arise about the Program, as well as make presentations about the innovations stemming from Cotton Incorporated.
